RSSing pages makes a 21st person literally linked to the globalized world. The most difficult thing we can deal with in this post-modern world is being in touch with so many different kinds of knowledge and not being able to use all information we can get. There are so many possibilities and so little time for them. Before getting in touch with RSS possibilities I tried to check some important sites on a regular basis bearing in mind that it would be almost impossible to take advantage of the best possibilities due to the variety of sites I had to check.

 

It’s still difficult for me to remember to open my google reader and RSS my discoveries. I hope I am able to be part of this post-modern world and improve my skills concerning English language as well as helping my students!

 

 

In our eternal journey as teachers we find ourselves as learners. Blogging helps us, teachers, to interact with our students in such a way that they can feel part o the process.

The most difficult thing about blogging is being able to be as creative as possible and make interesting blogs. I we can not attract students' attentions our blogs won't be effective. So here are my tips or us ... XXI century teachers:

• Use pictures and a nice layout whenever it's possible
• Ask or comments
• Look for interesting topics
• Praise their contributions
• Suspense ... Tell a story and tell them to look or the ending at the blog
• Make it interesting and show students that it's not your blog. It's theirs!!

Learning how to use Diigo made me feel as if I had many things to do and not enough time for them ...

Bookmarking will help me a lot in many different ways: Searching interesting stuff, preparing classes, learning about the world!!!

I'll use diigo to look for and prepare new activities. So many things had been done all over the world concerning English teaching!!! It's time for us to put them together and organize our own virtual rooms!!!

Watching the Videos made me feel as real learner. I think I do have to learn how to be a teacher again. We were thought that the basic idea a teacher should follow before teaching was: "Students' needs have to be fulfilled". So, Let's be a digital teacher. Our students need us!
